Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (Leading to CSCS Green Card)
Health & Safety is a significant concern. Everyone has an essential role to play in reducing deaths and accidents at work. Failure to meet the requirements of Health and Safety regulations carries serious consequences so understanding these requirements is vital. This course is aimed at those starting out in the construction industry and provides an introduction to some of the key aspects of health and safety on and around construction sites. It can be taken along with the accredited exam to provide you with a recognised qualification that can form part of your CSCS card application.
The training course and exam are allocated at the same time.
When the individual has completed the training, it tells them the next step is now to take the online exam.
To complete the exam, the individual will need to log in to their candidate account, follow the on-screen instructions which will check their computer and web camera for compatibility.
The exam is recorded, and the footage will be reviewed after which the individual will receive an automatic email notifying them whether they have passed or failed. This will take up to 2 working days for them to receive the result. (We cannot expedite this)
If they have passed, a certificate will be emailed to them within 7 – 10 days which is accredited by ETA Awards. We are unable to expedite this.
The course can be completed on a day that suits the candidates.
Once a candidate has successfully passed the training, they will need to sit a second touch screen exam at a CSCS Centre (we cannot help with this as it is a complete separate cost).
The only evidence the provider will ask for is the completed CITB touch screen score report, their accreditation certificate which they will receive within 7 – 10 days of completing the course and the same ID they used when doing the online exam
